Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 to Launch in September

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is overdue for an upgrade, and it seems the Korean company is set to launch its successor very soon.

The company’s Colombian website posted that Galaxy Tab S3 will see the light of the day in September and will have better specifications than the Galaxy Tab S2.

The post didn’t go into much details on what the company will introduce with the tablet or the exact availability date, but since it’s September, there’s a possibility that we may get to see it on IFA 2016 in Berlin — it’s one of the biggest electronics show of the year, and there’s no better place to introduce the new tablet than at IFA.

Last time we heard, it was rumored to launch on September 1st, and the company has an event scheduled at IFA for that date where we expect the company to launch the upgraded Gear smartwatch with a round display.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to come with an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 652 processor. Other rumored features include 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage coupled with a microSD card slot for expansion, an 8MP camera for photos and videos, 2MP front-facing camera, a 4,000 mAh battery and should ship with Android Marshmallow out of the box.
