During the 70s and 80s Australian Rick Springfield became synonymous with the music of the time. He had top ten hits with “I’ve Done Everything for You”, “Don’t Talk to Strangers”, “Affair of the Heart” and “Love Somebody”, but it was his song “Jessie’s Girl” that made him a household name. He was also an actor, starring in the daytime soap opera General Hospital, and had several other guest roles in TV shows and movies. While his career may have slowed down some since then, he never stopped making music, touring, or even acting.
In August, while in Atlantic City, technical issue caused the cancellation of a scheduled concert, but being the true professional he is, the artist decided to take a few minutes to give some of his fans a backstage performance. Take a listen and watch Rick Springfield in action.
