Media Create Sales: 10/10/16 – 10/16/16

Square Enix’s Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration for PlayStation 4 sold 21,152 copies during its first week of release in Japan, the latest Media Create sales figures reveal.

Rise of the Tomb Raider was the top-selling new release. Also new this week, Nintendo’s Paper Mario: Color Splash for Wii U opened at 20,894 sales, and Compile Heart’s Divine Prison Tower: Mary Skelter for PS Vita at 18,358 sales.

PlayStation VR also launched worldwide last week. According to Media Create, the virtual reality headset sold 51,644 units during its first week of sales in Japan.
