Cozy up this Fall with these 2 Beverage Recipes

It’s lastly seeming like fall and we’re soaking up all our seasonal favorites like comfortable sweatshirts, football Sundays, and of course, warm beverages to drink on while it’s cold exterior. And if you need a refresh from the typical pumpkin spice latte or hot apple cider, we have the solution! This Beet and Ginger Latte and Tahini Hot Chocolate are 2 delicious choices that will bring all-new flavors to your cup– and will make keeping warm a little more enjoyable.

Beet and Ginger Latte
Serves 1

3/4 tsp beet powder
1/4 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
1-2 tsp honey (to taste)
1/4 cup boiling water
3/4 cup steamed milk or milk alternative

Combine beet powder, ginger, and honey in a mug.

Include a splash of boiling water, and whisk together to create a paste. Add the remainder of the water, and continue blending.

Prepare your steamed milk. If you do not have a frother, warm milk is just as scrumptious.

Put the steamed milk into the mug over the beet, ginger, and water mixture. Pleased sipping!

Tahini Hot Chocolate
Serves 2

Active ingredients
1/4 cup boiling water
2 cups milk or milk alternative
2 tbsp tahini
3 tablespoon dark chocolate
1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup (to taste)
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
1 dollop of coconut whipped cream, dish to follow

Combine tahini, honey, cinnamon, and dark chocolate in a small pot.

Include a splash of boiling water, and whisk together to produce a paste. Add the remainder of the water, and continue blending until the chocolate is melted and well integrated.

Add milk to the mixture, and heat on the stove stirring periodically till preferred temperature is reached.

Pour the hot chocolate into 2 mugs and leading with coconut whipped cream, and garnish with chocolate shavings, tahini drizzle, or cinnamon. Pairs perfect with a chunky sweater!

Coconut Whipped Cream
Makes roughly 3 cups

1 can of coconut cream
2 tablespoon maple syrup
1/2 tbs vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Integrate all components in a large bowl. Using a whisk (or hand mixer), blend intensely till the mix lightens and fluffy like whip cream!
