When it was announced back at WWDC, we knew that – after the three month free trial period – Apple Music would cost at least US$9.99 per month in the US. However, for some reason, Apple Australia didn’t reveal their prices after the announcement.
Now, as the service launches across 100 countries, Apple Australia has finally revealed how much Australians will have to pay.
After the three month trial period, Australians will have to pay $11.99 per month if they wish to continue using Apple Music – putting it on par with Spotify Premium, Rdio Unlimited and Google Play Music All Access. If you want to subscribe to the Family Plan (which lets you have up to six members on one subscription) that will cost $17.99 per month.
So, will you be trying out Apple Music and sticking with it after the three month period? Sound out in the comments below.
