US church gunman tells police

Dylann Roof, the South Carolina man accused of shooting dead nine black church-goers last year, admitted the massacre in a police video shown to the jury.

He also said he spent “15 minutes” sitting inside Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston deliberating, before carrying out the attack on 17 June 2015.
