Rosie Casals holding pro-am in Palm Desert

The event is a tournament that partners with the Love Love Foundation, which Casals, a tennis Hall of Famer, founded to help support junior tennis programs and academies that need funding.

Charlie Pasarell, a co-founder of the BNP Paribas Open, and tennis icon Billie Jean King, who formerly played doubles with Casals, have been big supporters of the event in the past.

During the last two years, the Casals Cooper Tournament has raised approximately $50,000 and distributed funds to various junior tennis organizations in the Coachella Valley.
