Orange Julep ‘Cruise Night”

Enjoy an evening of juicy burgers and vintage cars every Wednesday for the entire summer, which gives you numerous opportunities to catch the show. Cruise Night takes place at the giant Orange Julep, where admission is free and food prices are dirt cheap. Stop by to soak up the warm weather, and spot classic cars from the past 80 years.

International Fireworks Festival

This festival is ongoing from July 7th-August 8thand takes place at La Ronde. However, one can also view the festival for no cost from Parc Jean-Drapeau or Old Port. If you do choose to purchase a ticket, you will be granted all-day access to the amusement park. Daily tickets start at $49.99 and go up to $80.00 for platinum season passes. For those who choose to not enter the park, you can always catch a glimpse of the fireworks show for free, which is always a bonus. 

Friday Food Truck Festivals

On the first Friday of every month, a free Food Truck Festival will take place at Montreal’s Olympic Park. Dozens of different food trucks will let you sample a variety of Montreal’s cuisine all in one place and for an extremely low price. Each month is said to offer different trucks with different foods, so people can attend each festival and expect to try something new from various cuisines and cultures. 

Festival MEG

Festival MEG is the perfect way to end the summer, as it takes place from August 30th– September 2nd and it won’t cost you a cent. This free admission festival at Boulevard St-Laurent features hundreds of electronic music artists with performances spread across the city. This year’s Festival MEG is expected to be the biggest party yet as the festival celebrates its 20th anniversary, and also heralds the end of summer.
