International cities like New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Manchester and Singapore already have their own logo designs. Closer house, Bengaluru now ends up being the first Indian city to join this elite club after getting its own logo.
With its own logo design, Bengaluru now welcomes its cosmopolitan nature. The logo design was crowd-sourced through a contest which was partly in English and partly in Kannada.

The red and white logo design is an effort of the tourism department that is working toward restructuring the city’s image so that it can be seen as a tourist location. Bengaluru is notoriously known as an IT hub throughout India and the world.
The logo design was designed by Nammur, a creative organisation. “The concept is ‘Be & & You, anyone can be yourself in Bengaluru.’ We have actually been dealing with this logo design for nearly one year and we were spoken with for this lot of times to describe how it will take city to next level,” stated Venkatesh, one of the group’s member, reports NDTV.

“We are the world’s most dynamic city and have a rich heritage which people are forgetting. The concept is to brand name Bengaluru with its history, culture, art and its cuisines and represent this as a worldwide brand name,” tourist minister Priyank Kharge was priced estimate as saying to NDTV.
The logo was released throughout the Bengaluru Habba celebration in front of the Vidhan Soudha. The celebration saw different performances such as western music and Indian standard dance kinds, together with stalls and food trucks.
