Ben Gordon has benn released on bail

Former NBA star Ben Gordon was arrested Saturday in Los Angeles on a felony robbery charge, the latest in a recent string of troubling incidents.

Gordon, 34, was accused of punching the manager of a downtown apartment complex where he is renting, pulling a knife on the man and taking money that Gordon said was his security deposit.

In June, Gordon was arrested in Los Angeles for pulling fire alarms at his apartment building when there was no indication of a fire.

Jim Calhoun, Gordon’s coach while at UConn, said he talked to Gordon’s mom Tuesday night.
