
During the middle of last month Asus started taking orders for its new Asus Zenbook Flip UX360CA convertible notebook with prices starting from $699. Today Asus has published a press release announcing these portable computer systems general availability.
To recap the Asus Zenbook Flip UX360CA is now available throughout the US offering two different storage configurations with either 256 or 512GB of internal storage available priced at $699 or $799 respectively.
Other specifications of the convertible notebook include a 13 inch IPS display offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, powered by an Intel Core M3-6Y30 Skylake processor supported by 8GB of RAM.
Other features include connectivity via both 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1 and Asus has included 2 x USB 3.0 ports, 1x USB 3.1 Type-C connector, 1 x micro HDMI port, and a handy SD card reader to expand the storage if required.
The system is also equipped with a 54 Wh battery and the Asus website indicates that other specifications may soon be available offering a Core M7-6Y75 processor, a 3200 x 1800 pixel display and the ability to reduce the RAM down to 4GB and only 128GB of storage. Although any availability for the specifications have not been confirmed by Asus as yet.
