Amazon Now Selling Cars Online

You can buy just about anything you want on Amazon. It offers tens of millions of products across dozens of different categories. And while it has always been possible to purchase car accessories on Amazon, it has never been possible to buy an actual car. That is, until now.

Amazon has started selling cars online, but it is limited to one country right now. Hopefully more will follow.

Now you can buy an actual car via the online giant. Amazon has signed a deal with Fiat Chrysler to sell three of its most popular models online in Italy. Fiat Panda, 500, and 500L are three of the best-selling cars in Italy and customers will now be able to buy them online through Amazon. We should not be surprised. Amazon is a giant and anything seems possible now.

“The time has arrived to give consumers a new, more efficient and transparent way to choose a new vehicle,” said Fiat Chrysler’s Gianluca Italia during a press conference.

Once customers have chosen their options online, an Amazon representative will get in touch with them on where they can finalize the purchase and pick up their new car. The car will be ready for delivery in two weeks of the order being placed online. Not bad. It saves a bit of hassle for sure. Hopefully Amazon will allow customers in other markets to purchase cars online as well.
