Jimmy Kimmel Unveils Kit Harington’s Game of Thrones Audition Tape

On last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, the late night talk show host claimed to have been given Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington’s audition tape. And while those of you who watch the series know the actor to play the popular character of Jon Snow, Kimmel shared supposed screen tests done by Harington for other characters in the show, including Cersei, Daenerys and Tyrion. 

In the video Harington first stumbles through playing Cersei Lannister, a character whose name he couldn’t even pronounce. He even tries his hand at her signature line, but mangles it to “When you play the Game of Thrones, you win or you die. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to have sex with my brother.” 

Harington then gives a go at playing Tyrion Lannister, otherwise known as the Imp, and walks on his knees to pretend he is much shorter than he is, but unfortunately he can’t stay upright and falls over. He tries to play Jon Snow’s lover, the Wildling character Ygritte, while firing a fake bow and arrow, before screaming as Hodor. And just wait until you see him playing Daenerys Targaryen, complete with fake breasts he calls dragons. And his white walker, well you just have to see it for yourself.

When all else fails, Harington takes to another franchise altogether, playing Harry Potter. While Harry may not be part of Game of Thrones, he is at least part of another book. 

Games of Thrones returns this Sunday night on HBO.
