At Preen, the beauty trend involved a burst of berry lip colour, bold eyebrows and a fierce expression. Meanwhile, Topshop Unique featured luxurious long lashes and smudged orange red lipstick. At Temperley London, berry stained lips were combined with rosy cheeks, for a feminine look.

Whether edgy and daring or ethereal and ladylike, there’s no denying that smudged lipstick can look absolutely chic.
