Pebble Opens Preorders for Round 2 Smartwatch

Pebble is now accepting preorders for the Round 2, a newly redesigned version of its 2015 Pebble Time Round watch. The company announced the $199 device on Thursday, with shipping set to begin in May 2026.
Round 2 doesn’t have the large bezel that was present in the original’s display, instead introducing a 1.3-inch color e-paper touch screen that covers the entire watch face. The new display packs 260 by 260 pixels at 283 DPI, boasting double the resolution of the original. Pebble says the battery now lasts approximately two weeks on a single charge, a huge improvement over the Pebble Time Round’s two-day runtime.
Inside, the Round 2 runs the open-source PebbleOS and works with both iOS and Android smartphones through the Pebble mobile app. The watch has dual microphones for voice input and message replies, though iOS support for voice replies remains limited to the EU. The device lacks a heart rate monitor.
Pebble founder Eric Migicovsky relaunched the brand last year after Google open-sourced PebbleOS. Pebble Time 2, which, unlike this model, includes heart rate monitoring, was announced in August 2025, with a larger 1.5-inch display and stainless steel body.
The Round 2 shares its electrical design with the Pebble Time 2 but uses the mechanical design from the original Pebble Time Round. The company says that customers who preordered the Pebble Time 2 can switch their order to the Round 2 through the company’s order management portal.
