With the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival red carpets well underway, Hollywood’s most beautiful stars have been stunning in Toronto. On Sunday, the radiant Jennifer Lawrence made a grand appearance at the red carpet of her TIFF film mother! The 27-year-old actress arrived at the Princess of Wales Theatre wearing a shimmering black peplum creation by Dolce Gabbana. Lawrence’s embellished frock featured a black lace corset top, along with a curve-skimming silver and black sequin skirt. The striped ribbon detail on the bodice created visual interest, while her strappy black heels complemented her choice of red carpet dress perfectly.
Meanwhile, Mary Shelley star Elle Fanning looked like a fairytale princess in a dreamy pale pink number designed by Alexander McQueen. The sheer blush gown was detailed with a strapless bustier bodice and a long high-low hem. With its dainty floral lace, the ladylike frock highlighted the 19-year-old actress’s modelesque frame and porcelain complexion.
At the premiere of Disobedience, star Rachel McAdams stepped out in a look from Elie Saab’s Resort 2018 collection. The 38-year-old Canadian actress was a beautiful sight in the pale green gown, which featured sheer lacy detail and pretty tiered ruffles along the hem. With its V-neckline, refreshing minty hue and spaghetti straps, this was a red carpet dress which was perfectly suitable for Canada’s sweetheart herself.
