Google Takes Down Pixel 10's New 'Daily Hub' Feature

Google has removed the Daily Hub feature from the Pixel 10 series just months after its initial public preview. Daily Hub was meant to bring a user’s calendar, Magic Cue, and a handful of personalized suggestions into one place. Each user saw region-specific weather details and an overview of their daily schedule, alongside a section called “Keep these on your radar.” The tool aimed to surface relevant emails, text messages, and notes—details that could be useful as the user moves throughout their day—as well as music, podcast, and even YouTube recommendations.
Now, after issues with the Daily Hub, Google is temporarily dropping the feature from all Pixel 10 devices.
“To ensure the best possible experience on Pixel, we’re temporarily pausing the public preview of Daily Hub for users,” a Google spokesperson told 9to5Google. “Our teams are actively working to enhance its performance and refine the personalized experience. We look forward to reintroducing an improved Daily Hub when it’s ready.”
It’s unclear which issues soiled Daily Hub from Google’s perspective, though 9to5Google editor-in-chief Abner Li notes that his colleagues’ media recommendations have been “hit-or-miss.” Android Authority writer Joe Maring meanwhile says the Daily Hub UI and suggestions made the feature “one of the worst and most disappointing Pixel features [he’s] ever used.”
