Although fringed accents first made a grand appearance on the catwalks last season, it seems that fringe is now back with a vengeance for Fall 2017. On the autumn runways, fringe has been stealing the spotlight in a number of ways, and can be seen adorning dresses, blouses and coats. Michael Kors

The Michael Kors runway revealed fringe in all its glory, in the form of billowing sleeves and a detailed fringe hemline. A little black dress received a major upgrade, with the addition of a plunging V-neckline and a broad, waist-cinching belt.

Prabal Gurung

At Prabal Gurung, a tiered fringe top was a bold sight, with its fiery rich red hue. Meanwhile, a boyfriend blazer, straight trousers and high-heeled booties all completed the outfit. We are liking the powerful colour, which is sure to draw the eye and keep the focus on this overall ensemble.

Marchesa

Marchesa turned to bright colour as a way to show off fringe in its true glory. The combination of rainbow fringed tassels, sheer black lace and vivid embroidered flowers results in a vibrant, ladylike frock. For a finishing touch, dangling earrings and strappy black sandals accessorize a vampy, lacy gown.
