Samsung is preparing to add bigger displays to its flagship Galaxy Z Fold lineup. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8.2-inch foldable display. The company has not confirmed the exact specifications, but its official teaser for the upcoming Unpacked event says it has listened to users’ requests for bigger screens, as reported by SamMobile.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is also said to have a thinner chassis. Sources say it could be as slim as 3.9mm when unfolded, making it one of the slimmest foldables on the market. When folded, the device is said to measure around 8.9mm, which is thinner than its predecessor.
In terms of camera, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to have a 200MP main sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The front cameras are said to include a 10MP sensor on the cover display and a 4MP under-display camera on the main screen. The battery is to remain at 4,400mAh, the same as previous models, with support for 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at its Unpacked event in July 2025, likely launching a new tri-folding device that can transform into a 10-inch tablet when fully unfolded.
