OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 15T in China, squeezing high-end performance into a compact form factor.
The phone uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and comes with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. Its 6.32‑inch 1.5K AMOLED display boasts a refresh rate similar to that of the OnePlus 15: 165Hz. The panel features high-frequency PWM dimming and an ultrasonic in‑display fingerprint sensor. A 16MP selfie camera sits in a punch‑hole cutout at the top.
Personally, I’m a bit disappointed by the rear camera module—not because of its quality, but because of its quantity. Like last year’s OnePlus 13T, this phone incorporates two rear cameras rather than the industry-standard three. It pairs a 50MP main camera with a 50MP telephoto camera that offers 3.5x optical zoom, with OnePlus saying you can get up to 7x lossless zoom in some modes.
When it comes to power backup, the OnePlus 15T has a 7,500mAh silicon‑carbon battery that supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. That’s pretty impressive for a phone of this size.
The OnePlus 15T runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16 in China. Though it’s expected to run OxygenOS in other markets, the OnePlus’s international future seems bleak, and both leakers and internal sources believe the company is winding down in markets like the US. For that reason, I wouldn’t hold your breath for a OnePlus 15T drop in the States.
