Starbucks locations are Pokémon Go Gyms or Pokéstops now

We knew a Starbucks collaboration with Pokémon Go was coming and now it is official. You can get yourself a cup of coffee while on the hunt for more Pokemon.

Niantic, the developer of the popular augmented reality game, has revealed that about 7,800 Starbucks coffee shops in the US have been turned into Gyms or Pokéstops. It seems that Pokemon Go is partnering with a few big names to aid you in your quest to catch them all.

So you can also pick up a special Pokémon Go Frappuccino drink. This is a sponsored deal after all. And, just like you can do at Sprint stores, you will have access to a charging station. You’ll need it if you have been busy scouring the town for rare little critters. You can’t catch them on a dead phone after all. While it is charging up, you can charge up yourself with that special drink. Then get back in the game right after.

Just always remember to be aware of your surroundings while you’re trying to catch ’em all. Because you don’t want to get hit by a car or walk into a tree or light pole. It happens, so be careful.
