After a month of waiting, Beyonce fans have finally seen their patience rewarded as the 35 year old singer released the first photo of her twins Sir and Rumi Carter.
The photo came unexpectedly in the early morning hours of Friday, when Beyonce posted it on Instagram with the simple caption “Sir Carter and Rumi 1 month today.” It’s important to note that this is also the first time the names of her twins were confirmed publicly. Even though trademark documents had been filed in June, the singer had not made any comment on what their names were.
In the photo, Beyonce is wearing a Palomo Spain ensemble, and if the photo looks familiar, it’s because it’s shot in a similar style as the maternity photo she released back in February when she made the announcement that she was having twins.
Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles Lawson, took to Instagram herself Friday morning, stating “So happy my baby shared a photo of her babies with the world. Proud grandma. Hello Sir Carter and Rumi Carter. Boy and girl what a blessing.”
