Presto partners with Velocity so you can earn points – with a massive caveat

If you’re a member of Virgin Australia’s Velocity Frequent Flyer program, you can now earn points by having a Presto subscription.

However, there is a massive caveat: this is only available to its Presto Entertainment package, not its Presto TV or Presto Movies packages. You are also not eligible if you signed up via Telstra or Foxtel (despite Presto being half-owned by Foxtel).

Velocity members who sign up to Presto will earn 600 points on their first paid month, plus another 50 points per month until the end of their Presto Entertainment subscription. While Presto does also offer a free month trial of their service – the Velocity Points won’t actually start until you start paying.

Existing Presto members who are also Velocity members will only earn 50 points per month until the end of their Presto Entertainment subscription.
