No 1 Tennis Player From New Zealand Trains In Palmerston North

New Zealands top-ranked female tennis player has returned to her old club in Palmerston North.

While children trained at the Manawatu Lawn Tennis Clubs school holiday programme on Wednesday morning, 21-year-old Paige Hourigan was hard at work training with the clubs head coach Jono Spring.

Following Marina Erakovics retirement earlier in December, Hourigan is now the top-ranked New Zealand woman, sitting at 577 on the Womens Tennis Association rankings.

Hourigan had a hit at the Manawatu Lawn Tennis Club with head coach Jono Spring.
