Michael Porter Jr. Had Second Back Surgery Last Week.

The team confirmed the procedure on Thursday, issuing a statement that read: Michael Porter Jr. has undergone surgery of the lumbar spine at The Carrell Clinic in Dallas, Texas.

This latest procedure, according to Porters camp, has led to a greater understanding of Porters herniated-disks condition, boosting confidence he can move on from the injury and begin his Nuggets career.

Porter, 19, underwent back surgery in November that limited him to just three appearances in his lone season at the University of Missouri.
