Leica Red Summicron 50mm Lens Unveiled For $8,950

Camera manufacturer Leica has this week unveiled a new special edition camera lens which takes the form of the Leica Red Summicron 50mm Lens f/2 which is available in a red anodised finish.

The Leica Red Summicron 50mm Lens f/2 is supplied in a grey cowhide case with matching lens cap, production will be limited to just 100 lenses that will be available worldwide.

Leica Explained a little more about the Leica Red Summicron 50mm f/2 lens that is priced at $8,950.

The world’s sharpest standard lens is the first ever Leica lens to be offered in an alternative, red-anodised finish from December. The uniqueness of this eye-catching special edition is further underlined by the planned production of only 100 red-anodised versions of the lens.
