Imposters star Inbar Lavi moved to the United States from Israel at the young age of 17, and after stops in TV series like Underemployed, Gang Related and The Last Ship, the actress eventually landed into the role of Maddie in the comedy drama series Imposters. Although an exact launch date for the new season hasn’t been announced yet, Real Style took a moment to catch up with the talented actress to talk about her journey.

Among the things Lavi talks about, she discusses how starting off in dance helped her eventually move towards acting. “I have a big place for dance in my heart. It taught me everything I need to know about performing, stage, discipline and technique. It taught me a lot about physicality, and I still use that every day on set, every character that I play. I don’t feel as passionate about dance as I do about storytelling through film and TV,” she says.

Read the rest of the interview by subscribing to Real Style today, and find out what Lavi thinks about her fellow actresses from her home country, who she would like to work with in the future, and what her plans are for Valentine’s Day.
