Hasselblad V1D 75 Megapixel Modular Camera Concept Unveiled

Professional camera maker Hasselblad has this week unveiled a new 75 megapixel modular camera concept they have created in the form of the Hasselblad V1D.

The modular concept allows photographers to add a number of additional pieces of hardware such as displays to either the top or back of the “black box” camera as well as selecting from a range of holders, viewfinders and accessories.

While the signs of the camera have been made available for custom controls and grips, enabling photographers to completely customise the modular camera to suit their needs and requirements for every shoot.

The body proportions and square, 75-megapixel image format are meant to evoke classic Hasselblad models, Hasselblad Although they have not yet announced whether it will actually go into production or is just an unrealised concept.
