Eagles Benched Nelson Agholor

It was noticeable that they played without wide receiver Nelson Agholor.

There have been speculations that the Eagles are putting him on the bench because of his lack of performance but Agholor took the news in a positive way.

CSN Philly reported that Agholor took the statement as a challenge saying “He gave me an opportunity to get better by putting me in this situation.” He added, “And what’s in front of me right now is an opportunity to show mental toughness, to show resiliency, to show an opportunity to prepare the right way and be there.

According to Philly.com, The Eagles want to give him time to get his mind right, and they have former practice squad receiver Paul Turner active for the first time this season.
