E3 2016: PlatinumGames shows off Scalebound co-op gameplay

At the Xbox E3 briefing, Platinum Games showed off some action-packed gameplay for their upcoming game, Scalebound. The gameplay shows “the biggest boss fight Platinum has ever made”, with a 4-player co-op boss fight against a giant crab. The battles are dynamic, with ranged and melee combat as Drew, or taking to the skies with your dragon companion, Thuban.

We can expect to see crazy and over-the-top action gameplay that Platinum are well-known for – working on titles like Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and The Wonderful 101.

Scalebound is coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2017, joining the list of “Xbox Play Anywhere” titles – with cross-buy and cross-play.
