The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) takes Las Vegas by storm every January and has been the premier event for demoing new products in the mobility category. Last year, we saw Audi and Disney unveil new virtual reality (VR) technology in partnership with Holoride and the fully autonomous, battery-electric Toyota e-Palette Concept Vehicle, among other innovations. In addition, our InnovizOne
We’re delighted to announce our return to CES this year with live demonstrations of our high-performance, solid-state LiDAR sensors that lead the industry in perception and data processing power. Most notably, our award-winning, automotive-grade InnovizOne LiDAR sensor will be demonstrated for the first time.
Our InnovizOne LiDAR sensor is a functionally safe, automotive-grade solid-state LiDAR sensor that is rugged, reliable and affordable. The product is the first of its kind to be selected for mass-production from a major automotive OEM, and will be included in BMW’s first autonomous vehicles (AVs), which are scheduled for production in 2021. It will be demonstrated for the first time with two live units, one showing a close view of Innoviz’s booth, and the other looking further down at the Westgate main hallway.
InnovizPro, our solid-state LiDAR sensor that offers outstanding performance for anyone looking to bring perception to nearly any scenario, will also be demonstrated at Innoviz’s booth by the Westgate main hallway. Both InnovizOne and InnovizPro LiDAR sensors are extremely reliable and versatile thanks to their unique solid-state design, which differentiates them significantly from traditional LiDAR sensors with several moving parts that are prone to mechanical failure.
In addition to product demos at the booth, Innoviz’s leadership team will be hosting a 20-minute talk on “The Challenges of Integrating New Technologies in the Automotive Industry”, followed by a Q&A session, at 4:00-4:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday, January 8, and Thursday, January 9. The Wednesday, January 8, session will be immediately followed by the company’s happy hour from 4:30 p.m. onwards. All attendees are welcome.
Innoviz Technologies will be exhibiting at booth #1315 in Tech East, Westgate. Representatives from its offices around the world (Israel, Japan, Germany, China and North America) will be present and available for one-on-one meetings with potential customers and media. They’re also keen to network with attendees at our lectures and happy hour and discuss the challenges of innovating in an industry that hasn’t seen a major overhaul in over a century.
