Contraception cuts: Warning over unwanted pregnancies

Many GPs in England have stopped providing some forms of contraception because of funding cuts, the Victoria Derbyshire programme has learned.

Clinicians are warning that cuts to contraceptive services will mean “more unplanned pregnancies and abortions”.

Health workers tell the programme what effect any restrictions to contraception may have on unwanted pregnancies.

The Victoria Derbyshire programme is broadcast on weekdays between 09:00 and 11:00 on BBC Two and the BBC News channel.
