Buena tennis No. 1 spot

The Buena boys’ tennis players don’t wait around for the spring season to get on the court.

Returning varsity players like Brent Haws, Michael Holden, Cody Haws, Esteban Ruffo and Jake Lane have been well at it, long before the 2017 season opens Feb.

“These boys have been playing tennis year-round, so the transition into the start of the season was easy,” boys head coach Tyler Weiss said.

Brent Haws advanced to Round 3 of the individual state playoff round a year ago.
