A car in which PGA Tour golfer Bud Cauley was a passenger went airborne before striking a large tree and three smaller trees and stopping in a ditch Friday night, according to a police report released Tuesday.
Cauley, Wisniewski and a third passenger were taken to a Columbus hospital for injuries sustained in the accident.
Cauley wrote Monday that he is “thankful to be alive” after suffering five broken right ribs, a collapsed right lung and a fractured lower left leg.
