Asus Transformer Mini, Transformer 3 Pro Launch In Europe And Japan

Ahead of IFA later this week Asus has announced they have made available their new Transformer Mini and Transformer 3 Pro hybrid tablets available in both Europe and Japan.

The Asus Transformer Mini T1002HA pictured above features a 10.1 inch touchscreen display that provides users with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and is powered by a Intel Atom x5-Z8350 Cherry Trail processor.

The processor within the Asus Transformer Mini company supported by 24 GB of RAM and comes equipped with 64 or 128 GB SSD storage options and includes connectivity via 802.11ac WiFi as well as added security using a fingerprint sensor.

The Transformer 3 Pro is equipped with a 12.6 inch touchscreen display offering users a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixel, and is available with either a Core i5 and Core i7 Skylake-U processor. Both of which can be supported by up to 16GB of LPDDR3 2133 MHz RAM.

Together with options for 128 GB to 1 TB of solid state drive (SSD) as well as featuring an handy M.2 slot that can accept another SSD with the option to add up to another 512 GB of additional storage. Other connections on the pro include HDMI, USB 3.0 and USB Type-C/Thunderbolt 3 port with support provided for the latest Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity as well as 2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 13 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs.

Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, but expect more details to be made available during the IFA consumer electronics show that takes place in Berlin this week. As always we will keep you up-to-date with all the news as it happens.
