Asus have this week launched a new addition to their range of hybrid Windows tablets with the official launch of the new Asus Transformer 3 Pro which is now available to purchase priced at $1500 and comes pre-installed with Microsoft’s latest Windows 10 Pro operating system.
The Asus Transformer 3 Pro is now available throughout the US and is one of the most powerful tablets currently on the market offering a 12.6 inch display that offers users a high resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels.
Internally the Transformer 3 Pro tablet is equipped with a Intel Core i7-6500U Skylake processor supported by 16GB DDR3-1866 RAM and includes a large 512GB SSD for operating system, applications and media storage. But is not equipped with a Thunderbolt 3 port. Other specifications of the Asus Transformer 3 Pro tablet include :
• HDMI, USB 3.0, and Thunderbolt 3 ports and a headset jack
• SD card slot
• 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1
• 13MP rear and 2MP front cameras, with IR camera for Windows Hello
• Stereo 2W speakers
• 39 Wh battery (charged with a USB C cable)
The Asus Transformer 3 Pro tablet is now available to purchase from the likes of Amazon priced at $1500.
